YANMAR’s CVCP (Constant Voltage & Constant Phase) inverter system holds Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) to 1% or less, regardless of load variation — making this generator equally suited to computers and medical equipment as it is to pumps and motors. Output at 50Hz has been increased by 20% compared to earlier models, ensuring consistent delivery across Australian grid frequency.
Fuel Efficiency Through Variable Speed
The eG140i continuously adjusts engine speed in response to the actual load, operating up to 20% more efficiently than conventional fixed-speed generators. The 46L fuel tank provides extended run capability — over 14 hours at 70% load — reducing the need for refuelling in remote or unattended applications.
Compact Water-Cooled Design
Despite its output capacity, the eG140i maintains a compact footprint through the pairing of YANMAR’s water-cooled diesel engine with a PMA (Permanent Magnet Alternator). Automatic Start/Stop Ready
A terminal for AMF/ATS panels is included as standard. The eG140i-6CR can be configured to start automatically on mains failure and shut down when supply is restored — making it a dependable set-and-forget standby solution for properties and sites where manual intervention isn’t practical.
