Statewide Power recently completed this purpose-built, containerised stand-alone power system for a rural property near Nyabing in Western Australia.
Designed to provide reliable power without connection to the electricity grid, the complete system was installed inside a modified, insulated and air-conditioned 40-foot sea container. This protects the equipment from weather, dust and temperature extremes while creating a practical, serviceable power station.
The system includes:
- 22.8 kW of Australian-made Tindo solar panels
- Selectronic SP PRO 7.5 kW battery inverter and system manager
- Fronius 10 kW and 5 kW solar inverters
- 71.68 kWh of AERL lithium battery storage, providing approximately 57.34 kWh of usable capacity
- Select Live remote system monitoring
- 18 kVA Hyundai diesel generator with automatic starting
- Fully insulated and air-conditioned equipment container
- Integrated electrical protection, controls and system monitoring
The generator automatically supports the system during periods of low solar production or unusually high energy use. Remote monitoring also allows system performance to be checked without requiring regular attendance at the property.
