Common uses for 3-phase diesel generators
1. Farming and agriculture
Electric motors on irrigation pumps, grain augers, and cool room compressors draw more current than a standard 240V supply can handle. Three-phase gensets in the 11 kVA to 45 kVA range cover most of these loads, with larger options for properties running multiple systems at once.
2. Commercial backup power
Most medium to large commercial buildings like retail centres, medical practices, hospitality venues, or office blocks will run on 3-phase supply. 3. Construction and trade
