Premium Sound-Attenuated Generator — Bunded and Built for Australia
The Kubota SQ3140B is a premium compact three-phase four-pole diesel generator delivering 15.4 kVA at 1500 rpm. Powered by the Kubota D1703 water-cooled diesel engine and housed in a fully sound-attenuated enclosure, it operates at just 61 dB(A) at 7 metres — among the quietest generators available at this power level.
Fully bunded for environmental compliance and peace of mind, the SQ3140B protects against fuel and oil leakage in the event of engine failure or seal failure — essential for installations near waterways, in heritage environments, or where council compliance requires spill containment.
24+ Hours of Run Time — No Refuelling Required
The 72-litre fuel tank provides over 24.8 hours of continuous run time at full load — effectively unlimited for most standby applications, and sufficient for extended prime power operation without the logistics of daily refuelling. This is a genuine competitive advantage for remote sites, emergency response, and agricultural operations.
Plug In and Get to Work
Factory-fitted with a digital controller and 2-wire auto start, the SQ3140B is ready to connect to your meter box or ATS panel straight out of the crate. It can be used as a primary power source by plugging directly into a meter box, or configured for automatic standby operation.
Kubota TVCS Engine Technology
The D1703 engine incorporates Kubota’s Three Vortex Combustion System (TVCS), which improves air-fuel mixing for cleaner emissions, lower noise, and better fuel economy. Automatic engine shutdown is included as standard for protection against abnormal conditions including low oil pressure and high coolant temperature.
Heavy-Duty Construction with Fork Pockets
The SQ Series is built on a heavy-duty frame with forklift pockets for easy positioning on site. The fully enclosed, sound-attenuated cabinet meets the noise requirements for most council and site noise management plans, making it suitable for installation adjacent to buildings, in residential areas, and at sensitive commercial sites.
