The Hyundai DHY12000SEm-RS Diesel Generator is a single-phase diesel generator delivering 10 kVA of stable power for home, residential, and commercial emergency use. Built around a water-cooled Hyundai HYDEV80 diesel engine, it is housed in a weather-proof canopy designed for Australian conditions — compact enough to install in a tight space while providing enough capacity to keep essential loads running through an outage.
An AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) alternator ensures clean, stable output voltage regardless of load variation, making the unit safe for sensitive electronics including televisions, computers, laptops, and other devices that require consistent power quality.
Long-Range Tank for Extended Run Times
The 30-litre fuel tank provides up to 7 hours of run time at 100% load without refuelling — a meaningful advantage during extended outages or in off-grid applications where regular refuelling is impractical. A built-in low oil alarm and automatic shutdown protects the engine at all times.
Automatic Transfer Ready
The Hyundai DHY12000SEm-RS Diesel Generator supports 2-wire automatic starting, allowing it to be connected to an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system. When mains power fails, the ATS starts the generator automatically — and shuts it down when supply returns — requiring no manual intervention.
The DHY12000SEm-RS uses a water-cooled engine (HYDEV80) rather than the air-cooled unit found in the DHY10000SE-LRS, providing more stable operating temperatures and quieter running — a key differentiator at this power level.
